Nurse Renee Reisinger, Educational Advisor

Renee Reisinger is a dual board certified in Women’s Health and Adult Nurse Practitioner.  She holds a Master’s degree in Medical Cannabis Science and is a May 2021, graduate of the nation’s first Master’s in Medical Cannabis Science Degree Program, through the University of Maryland, School of Pharmacy.  She is a 2006 University of Maryland, School of Nursing graduate with a Master’s in Nursing and a degree as a Nurse Practitioner. Her advancement in nursing began in 1983, as an RN graduate of the Union Memorial Hospital, School of Nursing, followed by a Bachelor of Science degree from Towson University.

As a lifelong learner, Renee discovered early that she holds a passion for health and wellness. She educates and advocates for the responsible use and access to cannabis as medicine. She encourages and implements a healthy diet, exercise, relaxation/meditation, and educates her patients about the endocannabinoid system when making recommendations for patients seeking to use cannabis to enhance their wellbeing and health.

In her spare time, Renee can be found enjoying time with her family, working in her multiple flower gardens, and raising backyard chickens! She is a member of the Society of Cannabis Clinicians, The American Cannabis Nurse Asso
