Rita Lynn Lawrence, Founder

Rita Lynn Lawrence has been a resident of Anne Arundel County for 17 years with her three children who attend AACPS. Rita has received your bachelors of arts and science from Maharishi International University with a focus in Consciousness & Human Potential & Transcendental Mediation. Rita retired from her 6 figure portrait business after struggling with major health issues including the diagnosis of fascioscapular-humeral muscular dystrophy.  She is A professional advocate for holistic wellness and suicide prevention.  Rita volunteers with Sunday Meditate teaching Meditation to reduce harm and promote sobriety. Rita also is a special education teacher at South River high school in Edgewater, Maryland.

In 2023, Rita recorded a meditation video everyday called A Course In Miracles on Youtube.
